Education is the cornerstone of community transformation, and WEMA KENYA is committed to making quality education accessible to all. Our scholarship program covers tuition fees from primary to university level for deserving students from member families. We provide mentorship from professionals in various fields, connecting young people with role models who guide their career paths. Our vocational training centers offer courses in tailoring, carpentry, mechanics, computer skills, and other marketable trades. We partner with institutions to provide internship opportunities and job placement assistance. Adult literacy programs help those who missed early education opportunities to gain essential skills. We've partnered with hospitals and clinics to provide subsidized medical care, including routine check-ups, emergency treatments, surgical procedures, and maternity care. Members receive health insurance coverage for both inpatient and outpatient services. Our medical assistance fund helps with prescription costs, medical equipment, and specialized treatments. We organize regular health camps offering free screenings for diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and other conditions. Health education workshops teach preventive care, nutrition, and wellness practices. Emergency medical transport is available 24/7 for critical situations.
